Enormous financial boost

The group has been awarded USD50,000 to help it realize its goal of improving sports facilities for the local community. Banchory Skate Group is building a new skate park at its popular local location, allowing more individuals of all ages and abilities to participate in the sport.

Free access to more equipment

The club will also provide free access to equipment so that anyone may participate in both official coached programs market and informal participation at the new skate park.

“This is excellent news for our Group,” said the BSKG chairman, “as it allows us to break ground and start the build of our skatepark.”

“Since 2017, the Skatepark Group has collaborated with the Banchory Skatepark Crew (youth squad), and this project would not have been possible without them.

“Their perseverance and belief in getting the facility they deserve has finally paid off.”

Most similar projects not only provide opportunities for people to participate in sports and physical activity, but they can also serve as a gathering place for communities to come together and support one another as we work our way out of these difficult times.

The importance of sports to the community

Investing in facilities that suit local demand is a top priority for the company. The company a huge thank you to everyone who has purchased a National Lottery ticket; this level of investment would not be possible without their help.

One of the conservatives, John Alex, added: “Sport is an integral part of people’s lives on Deeside, and I’m glad that Banchory Skate Group has been awarded this grant.

The epidemic has been difficult for a variety of sports in the area, but this USD50,000 from will give the club a great boost as things begin to normalize.

The new skate park will be a fantastic facility for our young people in Banchory, helping to keep their mental and physical health in check.
